Je m’entraîne et m’essaie à l’illu d’objets beauté (faut bien tenter parfois…). C’est pas encore le résultat escompté, mais on teste !
Trying new things and illustrating beauty products. Not what I was expecting, but it’s just a test !
On essaie de faire revenir le soleil comme on peut : )
(Oui, je ne prends pas grand chose au sérieux).
Largement inspirée par cette photo ♥
Please sunshine, come back !
(You know that I’m not a person who takes things too seriously).
Inspired by this picture ♥
By the way: I’m on instagram since a few weeks now !
/back to work
Wearing Prada SS 2013
Next June, I’m going to pass my final exam and get my diploma (jglmkjergI’mSOafraid). It feels strange.
I’ve been studying art and graphic design for 6 years (including a prep year).
I miss carrying my (big) « artist » bag, disturbing people when I was trying to make my way to the subway (art students, you know what I mean…).
Everyone always talk about their college years as their best. Carefree feeling, all that stuff…
I felt free not because I could do « whatever » I wanted (wut ?), but because I knew I didn’t have to chose yet. To chose between graphic design, working in an agency or being a full-time illustrator. And to be honest, I still haven’t made up my mind. I love to draw more than anything (blaablabla), but I don’t know if I would be able to make a living with it.
So many people tell me that I surely will, but when it comes to profesional, doors keep being close, or they open for someone else.
I know I still have a little time, but there’s still a lot of work to do. I will try to make it.
And dear god, there must be a LOT of mistakes, I do apologize. I wrote without thinking, with my school-basic english. Whatever.
I should have written in french :3

This is a « thank you » illustration (again).
Thank you for being so many on the facebook page (we hit the 2000 fans recently).
Thank you for following my work for so long (it’s been 3 years that I run this blog on MadmoiZelle.com).
I promise I will always try to improve myself.
This is why I started my blog. To share what I do, to have another point of view on my « work », to try to do better, always.
(And to improve my english skills, but there’s still a lot to learn, ahem…)
From now on, I will try to post « work in progress » pictures with the final illustration.
Those are low quality, sorry !
I’m trying to prepare a fanart contest for the blog’s 3rd anniversary and the 2000 fans, but I don’t have much time…
At first, I wanted to draw a serious business man for my book, but then…
…I don’t know what happened.
I wanted to relax between all the work I have to do.
Lula is one of my favourite fashion magazine. I may draw more of their covers.
This isn’t exactly how I wanted it to look, but it’s just a try, an « exercice de style » ( because I’m lazy, I don’t want to take a look at Google Translate).

There it is !
I finally finished my Taylor Tomasi Hill paperdoll. I know it is too small, but this is just a preview. Hope you enjoy it !
I’ll upload a HD version, so you will be able (if you want) to print and cut it : )
